January 2000
Well a slow start on the recipe front this year. Mainly due to other irons in the fire and
the UK government trying to rewrite the tax laws to destroy small IT businesses. See

you want all the depressing details. Anyway I spent most of January rapidly loosing the
will to live, but have bucked up a bit now. My mother has come to the rescue on the recipe
front, you can always rely on your mum can't you. Simple family favourites for this month
and I'm promised cakes for next month. Enjoy.
February 2000
As promised a selection of cake recipes this month. The apple cake was always a favourite
of mine when growing up. I'm not a great cake baker myself but I will try some of these recipes
and hopefully my attempts will yeild some photos I can add to the pages.
March 2000
This month is Cornish. Thanks to my mother-in-law for the recipes. These and others will form the
first recipe booklet at a later date. Watch this site for details.
April 2000
A mixture of things with out a theme this month. Just what takes my fancy.
