Eggless Raison Cake.
Ingredients
- 8 oz self raising flour
- Pinch of salt
- 3 oz margarine
- 3 - 4 oz castor sugar
- 6 - 8 oz seedless raisins
- 1/4 pt milk
Grease and flour a 6.5 - 7 inch cake tin.
Sift flour and salt together, rub in the margarine until like very fine bread crumbs.
Add the sugar and raisins, then the milk and mix well together. Turn into the prepared tin, sprinkle the top with a little castor sugar.
Bake in moderate oven 350 F - 375 F Gas 4 - 5 for 1.25 - 1.5 hours.
